From 12 to 14 February 2015 women entrepreneurs of Talas oblast are being trained financial literacy, business planning, leadership and communication skills in the framework of Women's Entrepreneurship Development Project.
The main objective of the project is to improve the lives of women in rural areas and small towns of the Kyrgyz Republic by stimulating economic activity of women entrepreneurs by improving access and quality of financial services for women's entrepreneurship.
Women's Entrepreneurship Development Project financed by the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction through the Asian Development Bank. Executing Agency is the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The project plans to introduce new and modify existing financial services convenient for women's entrepreneurship.
Particular attention is paid to the training of women involved in the project conducted by instructors of School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPCE) of the University of Central Asia (UCA) on a specially designed program agreed with the Project Implementation Unit at the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Such trainings were also held in the cities of Osh, Naryn, Karakol.
