Interior Minister of Kyrgyzstan Melis Turganbayev paid a working visit to Moscow, where he attended the official opening of the agency's representative office in Russia, the Ministry's press service reported.
The Interior Ministry office is currently headed by Lieutenant Colonel Askat Aliyev.
"Addressing people, Turganbayev talked about the prospects of cooperation between the Kyrgyz and Russian police,” the press service reported.
In addition, the Minister awarded departmental medals and diplomas to a number of diplomats and activists of the Kyrgyz Diaspora.
