Turkish Bank «Iş Bankası» considering to open a branch in Kyrgyzstan. This became known during a meeting of Consul General R. Tuleberdiev with deputy chairman of «Iş Bankası» Yilmaz Ertürk.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, the meeting was held at the initiative of the Consulate General, in order to intensify contacts and foreign investments in the economy of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the presentation of the investment climate and the capacity of the KR.
During the meeting, the staff of the Consulate General told about the economic situation in the country, the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the EEU, about a large market in the banking sector.
The staff of the Consulate General also informed about the favorable financial policy of the state, the legal framework for the protection of rights of foreign investors, the existing low tax rates, ease of doing business in Kyrgyzstan.
In turn, representatives of «Iş Bankası» informed that the bank's board is considering the possibility of opening of a branch or representative office in Kyrgyzstan.
