One of the suspects in the attack on theologian Kadyr Malikov extradited from Turkey, the press service of Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
"The day before, operational staff of the 10th Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic delivered from Turkey to Bishkek Tilek Alibek uulu born in 1987, one of the suspects in the attack on a public figure, theologian Kadyr Malikov," says in a statement.
Recall that the November 26, 2015, alleged supporters of the Islamic State (IS) extremist group stabbed Kadyr Malikov, the director of the Religion, Law, and Politics analytical center in Bishkek.
The next day, the bodies of internal affairs found that Yryskul Beishenaliev and Tilek uulu Alibek are involved in this crime.
A car belonging to the suspects was found outskirts of Bishkek. In the course of further operational and investigative activities, a large number of extremist materials were found in their homes.
The suspects within a few hours after the crime crossed the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border, and then got to Turkey.
Both suspects were announced in interstate and international wanted list through Interpol. As a result at the end of November 2015, they were detained in Turkey, in the city of Gaziantep.
