webinar on new methods of treatment of heart disease is held on February 16, 2017 at the Institute of Surgery and Transplantation of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry’s press service reports.
A seminar was organized in the framework of a project funded by the Russian Federation, to provide expert assistance to the Kyrgyz Republic through the United Nations Development Programme.
The project was supported by the WHO office in the Kyrgyz Republic. The Russian Scientific Society for Heart Failure took an active participation in the project.
The seminar brought together Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan T. Batyraliev, doctors of the National Research Institute of Heart Surgery, as well as their colleagues from the National Center of Cardiology and Therapy of Mirrahimov.
The seminar was also attended by Russian heart surgeon Professor A.V.Koroteyev, who gave a lecture "What the cardiologist should know about modern cardiac surgery."
The second lecture was prepared by the staff of the State Research Center for Preventive Medicine, Russian Ministry of Health O. M. Drapkina and professor and senior researcher R. Myasnikov, who have been in the online studio in Moscow. The lecture was devoted to "noncoronary causes of heart failure."
Kyrgyz Minister of Health Professor Batyraliev stressed the importance of the web seminar to enhance professional cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan doctors, thanked UNDP for the project organization and expressed the hope that such web seminars with the participation of Russian doctors will be conducted on a regular basis.
He also stressed the importance and prospects of organization of the Kyrgyz-Russian of cardiac surgery in Kyrgyzstan.
