Court proceeding on the case of MP Omurbek Tekebayev and ex-Ambassador Duishon Chotonov continued on July 4 at the Pervomay court of Bishkek.
Judge Ernis Aibek Uulu asked several supporters of defendants including activist Kanybek Myrzakanov to leave the courtroom during the hearing of General Director of Megacom company Azat Bazarkulov as witness.
Previously the Judge has warned that he will expel those who would disturb order in the courtroom.
Earlier on February 25, the General Prosecutor's Office opened criminal case against Tekebayev for corruption and fraud.
On February 26, Tekebayev and Chotonov were detained on suspicion of the mentioned charges. On the next day, Pervomay district court of Bishkek accused the two of corruption. They were taken into custody until April 25 and then their detention was prolonged until May 25.
Tekebayev's trial kicked off on June 5.
