Average monthly nominal wage in Kyrgyzstan in 2017 was 15,391 som growing by 6.7% year-on-year.
Taking into account the consumer price index, average monthly wage in 2017 increased by 3.4%, the National Statistics Committee data showed on March 7.
Based on the official exchange rate established by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, the average monthly salary of one employee was $223.5.
Kyrgyzstan has the lowest average salary size among the Eurasian Economic Union member states.
According to the Eurasian Economic Commission, the average monthly nominal wage in US dollars in January-December 2017 amounted to $402 in Armenia, $422 in Belarus, $459 in Kazakhstan, $216 in Kyrgyzstan, and $670 in Russia.
