Chairman of the National Statistics Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Sultanov is taking part in the work of the PARIS21 Concern in Bern (Switzerland).
The press service of the National Statistics Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that representatives of 55 countries take part in the work of the PARIS21 Concern. At this meeting, Kyrgyzstan was elected for the first time as a new full member of the PARIS21 Concern on behalf of the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia until 2020.
Speaking at the Council of the PARIS21 Concern, Sultanov said that the Kyrgyz Republic pays special attention to the goals of sustainable development at the level of the head of state and declared 2018 the Year of Development of the Regions of Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, a meeting of the National Council of the Kyrgyz Republic on monitoring indicators of the goals of sustainable development will take place in the near future.
