$ 8 billion needs for development of the mining industry in Kyrgyzstan. Director of engineering and research center "Ken-Too" Bakytbek Kozhogulov told today at a roundtable devoted to the study of mineral reserves of Kyrgyzstan.
Member of the Kyrgyz Mining Association Valentine Bagdetsky says that they made an ecological and economic assessment of existing fields, calculated their financial model, after which they assessed industry opportunities.
"Thanks to this we managed to calculate that for development of the mining industry $ 8 billion of investments is necessary. In such a situation, 12 billion dollars of tax will be received, more than 50 thousand people will be employed," added Kozhogulov.
