«ZETH-cement» in Kemin region will be the largest cement plant in Kyrgyzstan. Vice Prime Minister Tairbek Sarpashev told today at the ceremony of laying the capsule for construction of the plant.
He said that the plant will employ about 1,500 citizens of Kyrgyzstan. Production capacity is 1.2 million tons per year.
"The factory will deduct the republican and local budget $ 10-15 million a year in taxes. I am confident that the plant will create good competition in the market, which will affect the stability of cement prices," said Sarpashev.
He added that the plant will raise the cement supply in construction sector, which is growing annually by 18-20%.
Note that the new Kyrgyz-Chinese cement factory «ZETH-cement» is located 500 meters from Kemin substation in Boom gorge.
China will invest about $ 70-80 million for construction of the cement plant.
