A resident of Ken-Suu village (Tyup district), 44, was detained with 0.6 kilograms of hashish in the course of an operation conducted by the Interior Ministry's officers in the framework of an anti-drug campaign.
The detainee lived in a rural area, where large amount of wild hemp grows, and was wanted by the police as a drug trafficker.
The officers thus developed a plan under which they acted as drug buyers, established contacts with the man and talked over the price for the drugs.
The suspect was arrested while trying to sell hashish in 38 matchboxes.
