The Public Service Broadcaster of Kyrgyzstan (OTRK) will premiere new Kyrgyz TV shows in November, Member of the Supervisory Board Jenishgul Ozbekova said on October 14 at the session of the committee on education, science, culture and sports.
“Production peak of domestic series fell at the 2000s, when appeared such TV shows as 40-episode Chirkin Omur and 20-episode Apamdyn Makhabat, as well as Tor about life of labor migrants,” she said.
OTRK broadcasts these series every year. Two more TV shows are being prepared on the basis of Kyrgyzfilm Studio and will be presented in a month, Ozbekova added.
She expressed hope that further development of the Public Broadcaster will allow to produce more domestic TV series.
