Governments of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan to draft, sign economic cooperation agreement until year-end

The governments of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan were instructed to draft and to sign the agreement on economic cooperation in the framework of the Eurasian economic integration until the end of this year, Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldayev told reporters on November 10 in Bishkek while summarizing the outcomes of President Atambayev's state visit to Kazakhstan.

“Under this agreement Kyrgyzstan will receive $100 million assistance for implementation of the Customs Union road accession road map,” the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan explained.

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev assured President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev of support to Kyrgyzstan's Customs Union and Common Economic Space accession.

Kazakhstan is ready to provide necessary technical assistance, consultations and other support, the President of Kazakhstan said in his contribution at the 4th meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan on November 7.

“We have always supported and will support fraternal Kyrgyz people,” President Nazarbayev said.
