
The Civil Protection Commission of Issyk-Kul region sought the aftermath of the earthquake occurred on November 14 with the seismic intensity measuring 7 points, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
1,194 houses and 12 social facilities of Ton district were studied. The commission revealed that 481 houses and 7 social facilities suffered 1-degree damages; 237 houses and 3 social facilities – 2-degree damages; 44 houses and 2 social facilities – 3-degree damages; and 31 houses more – 4-degree damages.
In total, 1 thousand 333 appeals were received from the residents of Ton district.
Meanwhile, 38 houses and social facilities of Jety-Oguz district were checked. 5 houses suffered 1-degree damages, and 2 more houses – 4-degree damages.
The Civil Protection Commission continues its activities in the region.
