The board of directors of the National Bank of Kyrgyz Republic on May 27 made a decision to keep the refinancing rate at 5%, Chairman of the bank Tolkunbek Abdygulov told a press conference on June 28 in Bishkek, Tazabek reported.

The decision comes into force from today.

He also commented on the situation with the inflation in Kyrgyzstan. Inflation rate continues to remain in the forecast corridor and is not expected to exceed 5-7% in the mid-term, he said.

The inflation as of June 16 was 4.4% year-on-year, he said.
